Our head office is in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand, where we operate a national distribution centre. We also have dedicated Auckland based Sales and Customer Service teams servicing the New Zealand market and a small outlet shop.

Our parent company Blundstone Australia Pty Ltd is based in Moonah, Tasmania. In addition to administration, sales and marketing activities, the headquarters house our research and design centre as well as a factory with the capacity to manufacture 400,000 pairs of gumboots a year.

Our leather products are produced in Vietnam, India and China. As we’ve expanded production capability to meet demand, we’ve kept—and continue to keep—a firm eye on the ethical standards of the manufacturers that produce our boots.

At John Bull we pride ourselves on the quality and durability of our products. Our warranty offers protection against manufacturing defects when you purchase directly from one of our approved resellers.

Unfortunately our products are only available through retailers in New Zealand and we do not sell/ship to other countries.

Half sizes are made for a wider foot size. Given John Bull leather styles are made on a wider last, to provide a wide fit of the boot it’s not necessary to have half sizes in our range.

All John Bull boots come with removable and washable footbeds. Footbeds are sold through many of our approved resellers and can be replaced when they wear out. To find a store near you please visit our Store Locator.

While our boots are designed to withstand tough conditions, it’s important that you care for them to help prolong their life. Our boots have a variety of uppers, each with specific care required in order to keep them at their best.

Keeping the soles of your John Bull boots clean is also an integral part of boot care. This will help avoid permanent stains and minimise contamination causing damage to your favourite pair of John Bulls.
